Accelerate your Battery Management System (BMS) design process with Model-Based Design and simulation-driven development.

Modern electric vehicles, renewable energy storage systems, and advanced power electronics all rely on Battery Management Systems (BMS) to ensure safety, performance, and efficiency. A BMS monitors battery health, controls charging and discharging, and protects the system from failure. Developing such systems can be challenging due to their complexity, the need for accuracy, and the integration of multiple engineering domains.

By attending this workshop, engineers will gain an understanding of what a Battery Management System is, its functions, and how to implement and test them using Simulink and the power of Model-Based Design.

The session begins with an introduction and context of use of a BMS, followed by a brief mention of battery design. From there, the focus shifts to the implementation of different BMS functions and the ways to test the models in a live session.

Finally, we will make a brief comment on converting the model to an actual implementation in a physical system, completing the Model-Based Design workflow.
