The job

Join the SciEngineer team as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) and become a key player in our growing sales organization. As an ISR, you’ll be responsible for identifying potential customers, making initial contact with them, piquing their interest, and determining if they are truly relevant prospects for the company’s products or services.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is eager to learn, and wants to play a vital role in bringing cutting-edge engineering solutions to clients across 13 different industries.

The daily routine:

  • Research new business opportunities from various sources (online platforms, databases, etc.).
  • Make initial contact with potential customers via cold calls and emails.
  • Explore customer needs and challenges.
  • Qualify leads based on the company’s ideal customer profile and purchasing intent.
  • Arrange meetings for qualified leads with sales representatives.
  • Maintain contact with existing and potential customers, providing product information.
  • Answer customer questions.
  • Create and maintain a database of current and potential customers in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the sales and engineering teams for effective customer management.

The essentials:

  • At least 2-3 years of professional experience in sales or customer service.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Interest in new technologies.

The nice-to-haves:

  • Hands-on experience with with MATLAB and Simulink software.
  • Experience with CRM systems.
